Deck of Cards Gift Exchange

This needs two decks of cards. Each gift gets a card from deck A taped on; players draw from deck B. When your card matches a gift's card, you get that gift. Special cards add swaps.

What you need

  • Two identical decks of cards
  • Tape
  • One gift per player

How to play

  1. Tape one card from deck A to each gift.
  2. Shuffle deck B and deal one card per player.
  3. Each player in turn shows their card and collects the matching gift.
  4. Then play a swap round: the host draws from the rest of deck B. Aces: swap with anyone. Kings: everyone passes left. Queens: swap with the person across.

How many people can play the card gift exchange?

Up to 52 with standard decks. For more, use more decks or give each gift a card plus a color sticker.
